The pack contains a copy of the 2013 Level 6 SATs Mathematics Paper 1 and Paper 2, along with a full set of worked answers to both test papers and a list of the topics covered. As additional practice, it also contains Maths Star’s own extension questions designed to mimic those found in the 2013 Level 6 SATs Mathematics Papers 1 and 2. Start by trying the actual exam paper questions with the help of the worked answers. Then, try the extension questions on your own to practice your skills. It’s an ideal way to become familiar with the techniques and mathematical processes required. Although Level 6 testing has been discontinued in the Key Stage 2 national curriculum tests (SATs), the papers are a great revision aid for Key Stage 3 mathematics, particularly Year 7 and Year 8. They are also of benefit to Year 6 students who are working well above their age group and who would like to try more challenging maths.
